Correct wallpaper size

Howdy folks... Search for this all over the place, but couldn't find an answer.

I'd like to make my own wallpaper for my brandy new Rezound, but I'm not sure what size to make it. Should I basically use the phone's native screen resolution of 1280 x 720? What if I want it to scroll left & right? What size should I use?

AFAIK as long as you're using the Sense launcher you wont be able to scroll the wallpaper so you'll be staring at the same image throughout however many screens you're using. I believe that some of the other launchers (GoLauncher, etc.) will give you that ability.

As to the resolution of the image you're correct on the dimensions but there are many threads on the problems peeps have encountered when adjusting the wallpaper size to the screen (zooming in of the pix and what not).
