correcting gallery layout

my S8 phone received an update a couple of days ago and I wish there was a way to roll back. When I go in to (the updated) gallery and click albums I then click 'camera' and I used to get a page full of thumbnails that filled the whole screen, this was the way I liked it. I did something clumsy with my finger on the thumbnails screen and now the thumbnails are all shunted to the right with a new column on the left showing the albums on the same screen. I can't work out how to reverse this and get album images off the screen and the thumbnails filling the whole screen again. here is a screenshot of how I don't like it:

Put your finger on the right side of the screen and swipe it straight across left. May take a few times. You need to swipe across in a pretty straight line.

thankyou jlo3378 that worked (in the end) and yes it did take quite a few tries.

Can you tell me how to get it to look the way the user did NOT like? I prefer having the albums on the left and pictures on the right, but no matter how much swiping I do I can't get it to go to the way I like it displayed. Right now I have just thumbnails and want it the way the user pictured. Thanks!!

kelhop you do the opposite, swipe the image block over to the right and the albums will appear on the left. I keep doing it accidentally so it can be done.
