Corrupted apps?

I've had this problem for about a week now. I've been using my Ally without a problem since launch. However, about a week ago, I noticed the Fandango app changed it's icon to a generic Android icon and name changed to "com.fandango". I figured the app had been corrupted, so I uninstalled it and re-downloaded it. The app ran fine until I rebooted my phone. Upon reboot, the app was corrupted again. So I did a hard reset of the phone. All my personal data was wiped and the phone had to be programmed again. First thing I did was locate the Fandango app in the Android Market and reinstall. I verified it worked, but it became corrupted again after rebooting the phone. Does anyone have any idea why it keeps doing this? My wife and I have the same phone, purchased at the same time, and her phone runs the app just fine.

BTW, I did contact Verizon, and they refuse to believe the phone is the problem. They say I need to contact the app developer (which I have, I just haven't gotten a response yet). My feeling is, if it is doing this to me on a fresh hard reset, why didn't it do this to me when I got the phone? And why aren't others having this problem?

I have no way of knowing that... I'm bombarded by app update notifications, and I update whenever I'm prompted to. But any available update is currently on my wife's phone, too. So wouldn't the problem exist on both phones if the app version was the culprit?

I have the same problem. Everytime I reboot my phone the Fandango app quits working and I have to delete it and re-install. It is aggravating.

I have the same exact problems with DailyDilbert and DailyStrip. I have found that it is specifically LG Ally related according to numerous post from others in the app market. Wish it could be figured out so I could pass it along to the developer.
