My SD card for my Galaxy 7 recently became corrupted. When I had gone to bed the night before it was fine but then the following morning it showed up as corrupted. Everything is back up on the cloud so I'm not worried about getting anything back but I need the card working.

I have gone to fossbytes.com and went through the options they show to fix the card, and also downloaded Windows EaseUS program but none of the options have worked. Does anyone know of any other options out there that have worked for them or others?

Moved from the Accessories forum to the General Help forum, since I think you'll get better answers here.

Insert the card into your computer -- is it detected there? If so, then backup as much as you can right now, then run chkdsk to look for bad sectors: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...guide-using-chkdsk-fix-corrupted-sd-card.html.

If the PC can't read the card, then it's dead. Remember, SD cards are inherently much less reliable than onboard memory -- even those from well-known brands.

it runs through the program saying corruption found, although it does read the card. although it didn't fix the card. is the the last option in trying to fix it?
