Cosmetic Issue - Black Scraping Off around Brim

Is anyone else having the black frame around the front of the phone scrape off?It's bad around the corners, and on the right side of the phone.

I've never dropped my phone, and It stays in my pocket most of the time, but always by itself (no keys, coins, lighters etc.)

Sorry, no problems here. I've depress my phone on its computer corner, once, but otherwise, same treatment... In a pocket all by its lonesome. Looks like the day I got it.

Can you post a picture of what your talking about? My problem that I just noticed is dust particle under the screen in 2 sections and another spot that may have a dead pixel. I guess I will wait and see if it gets worse. Doesn't really bother me right now.

My front is ok. But the plastic back is starting to flake on the side. It has some kind of thin clear coating the is starting to come off.

Mine has some of the black paint rubbing off...as the original poster does. Under it seems to be the aluminum. Just around the edges at the top.

I have not experienced this yet, but honestly I don't care about cosmetic damage. As long as there are no dead pixels, the screen is not cracked and the hardware and software buttons function properly, I could not care less how "pretty" my phone is. I just means I'm using it, and whatever battle scars are incurred give it character.

I have had the problem with my paint scraping around the frontface rim as well. Its all because we dont use a case for the most part. See if you/r wife/girl has black nail polish as putting a light coat of this seems to work better for me as touch-up paint along the way

Mine has done the same thing and has been in a case since I bought it and left best buy. I kinda assumed it was from being in a case.

Got the same thing too... Plus a ton of scratches... This sucks had mt og Evo in my pocket since launch and not a single scratch. And it interferes while trying to view 3D content I will def have to get the screen replaced soon...Ugh..

I use a case but no screen protector, although I may get one soon. No cosmetic damage on mine at all. Looks brand new. Like another poster said though, as long as there is no screen damage and everything works correctly a little wear and tear is normal. If necessary I think I have some black nail polish
