I know the policy is 90 days... but lets say I want to completely return it at like day 60... What happens to my 2 year upgrade if I return it and lets say go back to my old blackberry for a couple of weeks? Does it come back so I can use it on another store?

My issue here is that I got a Bionic on 9/9/11.. Since then I have had the data issue, and the headphone whine, along with some battery issues and a stuck pixel.. Seems like the phone is pretty solid, but something to me feels like 280, for this to have these problems?

I am trying to exchange right now for another Bionic, but they are all sold out.. Lets say I wanted to exchange this in the future for the Droid Prime or HTC Vigor, or dare I say Iphone 5, it seems that Costco just doesn't have the supplies for the demand.. And Its annoying calling costco every other day to see if they have it..

What would you guys do..

If the 90 days is really for returns to get a full refund and I could just use another phone until future phones come out, I'd prob just hold this phone for a bit, since anything is > blackberry. haha

No, 90 days is for an EXCHANGE. Full return is 14 days and after that, your upgrade is gone and a new contract has started. Costco abides by Verizon's rules for returns and contract locks. The only difference is that you have 90 days to get an exchange (supposedly for the identical phone but some have gotten different models too).

u have 90 days at costco for the phone, but from what i remember you only have 30 days cancel with verizon before they charge you termination fee for the contract. i was able to get my 2 year upgrade back after i returned my phone within the 14 days by calling them about it, but i'm not sure about after the 2 weeks.

If you are wanting to have ability to exchange check out Best Buy policy. Friends of mine in Ca paid extra for the service but they can pay for any other phone they want selling back to best buy current phone. I don't know if that is still available but that's what they have and rave about it.

You have 14 days to return without restock fee and reverse the upgrade. After 14 days, you'll get $35 restocking charge plus lose the upgrade. Benefit of buying from Costco is that you can return a phone without the $35 restocking fee within the 14 days.

As the others have mentioned, it's 14 days for a full refund and 90 days to exchange the phone. I bought the Droid Charge on July 3rd from Costco and exchanged it for the Bionic. I loved just about everything about the Charge but couldn't deal with constantly losing data connection. I've lost the data connection a few times with the Bionic so far but not nearly as much.

I also purchased the Charge from Costco at the start of July before the unlimited data got nuked. The reason I purchased from Costco was specifically for the 90 day exchange period.

When the Bionic finally came in, Wireless Associates (the company that runs the cell kiosk in Costcos) gave me flak and told me that I could only exchange the Charge for another Charge, despite me specifically asking about exchange for other phones at the time of purchase.

Luckily, others had already been down this path, and I had come prepared with Wireless Associates' customer service number, and the name of their manager who was very clear about the policy including EXCHANGE, and not just REPLACEMENT. Her name is Linda, and she is a true professional. The phone # is 1-888-369-5931.

When the kiosk worker denied the exchange and said "You can call a manager or something if you want". I said, "Sure.", called Linda. And after 2 minutes of explaining the situation, she said "Put the guy on the phone." and 2 minutes later the exchange process was under way! :)
