Could it be the battery?

So I don?t know if this is coincidence or not, but yesterday when I was using my phone it deleted all of my apps and widgets, and said that HTC Sense had to force close. On Saturday all of my text messages got deleted. The only thing that changed was that I installed a new battery on Friday. Do you think that could have caused it? All of the forums that I read and the review on amazon about the battery were mostly positive?the battery is the 1800 from htcexpress.com. Anyone else ever had this problem?

When you say all your apps and widgets were deleted you mean they were remove from your home screens right? Maybe if you keep getting these problems I would clear data and cache in HTC sense by going to settings - applications - manage applications - running programs - find HTC sense then clear data and cache.
Your next step if the issue hasn't been fixed would be doing a factory reset which will wipe your phone clean like it was on its first boot.
Then if you still having the issue I would say the battery could be the cause. Hope this helps.
