Could my Samsung Galaxy tab be affecting battery life on my Droid?

In general I get pretty good battery life out of my Droid Incredible 2 (with Android 2.3.4), at least a day and a half unless I'm using it a lot. I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, and since then the Droid battery is going down to the little red battery every night. I have a stupid question: we have an AT&T U-Verse wireless router. Does the number of devices pulling a wireless signal affect how hard it is to get the signal? Because a known problem with the Droid battery is trying to get a weak signal, which is why we bought a cell phone extender from Verizon to improve phone reception. But at the moment I have 3 wireless devices using that WiFi router, and I'm noticing problems with the Droid battery life that I didn't have before I bought the tablet. Could these be related or am I imagining things?

If the phone is in a cave, metal building or you have recently gotten some new tech like a cordless phone...things that cause interference can affect WiFi. Distance can also. Having 6 or 8 devices should not hurt phones WiFi reception. You can have to many devices and not enough IPS but if it connects and stays connected that's not harming phone.

Thanks for your response. The only new tech we got was the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. It's occurred to me that the phone is 2 years old and I may simply be seeing the battery die. I'm up for a renewal with Verizon, I may look at a new phone. Oddly, we've had - for months - a wireless weather station that displays local temperature from a sensor in the back yard, and suddenly that is no longer displaying the temp; we played with its batteries, contacts, everything. I wonder if we have a neighbor with some new tech.
