Could the Lollipop update have messed up my phone (LG Nexus 4)?

Lollipop Troubles on a LG Nexus 4.

I have an LG Nexus that I've had for over a year. I got a request for a software update to (I think) lollipop about 1 month ago. I thought, what harm could it cause so I ran it. Now I have problems. I am missing calls, I have to hang up more than once on some calls(I hang up but the phone will redial that person) and at times when I make a call, I do not hear the other person and some times they can not hear me. These things happen with and without the use of a bluetooth. I have tried a factory reset but that has not helped. I found out that I do have the most up to date version: 5.0.1. What can I do to fix these problems?

Welcome to Android Central! Unfortunately, Lollipop seems to be especially buggy on the Nexus 4--there have been quite a few threads about this on this and other forums.
