Could this be dust or a dead pixel?

So I'm a little annoyed right now, my three day old HTC One now has what appears to be a very small piece of dust or a dead pixel on the middle left side of my screen. It is basically invisible when the screen is off or when I am on a black/dark screen. On a white screen like in messages it becomes visible. It's kind of curvy shaped like a comma. It's really small but now that I have seen it, it's basically impossible to ignore when I do something on a white screen. I am usually not "this" OCD but a 3 day old device? Seriously? I'm thinking about returning it but I would feel like such a ****** having to show them my problem with it (got it from Bestbuy). I guess I'll eventually get used to it but I have 14 days from the date of purchase to return/exchange it so maybe if it gets worse I'll take it in.

Take it back. If it's dust, it could fall to never be seen again but if it's a dead pixel/stuck pixel it will stay there.

I would take it back and get another. It's your right to be happy with your purchase.

Definitely take it back!

For sure take it back, cause if you don't take it back now, it's gonna keep bothering you and eventually you'll regret not exchanging it in stores, which is way easier process then a warranty replacement from HTC.
