could this get worse over time?

so i was cleaning my screen yesterday on my N7 and noticed a little speck that looked like dust but it wouldnt come off...so i inspected further and looks like it only shows up when im in the app drawers or when i go to recent apps...basically on a black screen its very small and when i turn down the screen brightness it seems to fade more i just dont want it to be something where it gets worse over time anyone else have this problem?

Probably a stuck pixel.. It happens sometimes. Shouldn't get any worse. Sometimes they clear up on their own. There are apps that go through the color spectrum so you can be sure it's a stuck pixel. Some apps can try and fix them.

Just do a search under the Google Play Store for Pixel Fixer. There are several out there..

The whole screen on my child's android tablet looks like a photograph negative eg colours are reversed. I've tried the apps suggested for the stuck pixels to no avail.
I'm not particularly computer savvy & less android savvy.

Any ideas would be helpful...

yes only had since December - so there is nothing that can be run to fix this??
