anyone try to boot into recovery yet? I ended up with a black screen with a picture of a phone and a red exclaimation point and had to pull the battery....this is after booting into the white screen with options for recovery, fastboot, factory reset etc....any ideas?

I have done the factory reset, and after selecting it you actually have to push the power button to accept, then the screen goes black and you see a phone with green arrows around it and then it takes a while to come back up. I didn't experience the red exclamation point though. And if you call Sprint they have no clue on this phone I was on the phone with them for an hour this morning

yea i did a factory reset today since i wasnt getting the battery life some other people have been reporting...also noticed at least one process on my autokiller i didnt recognize so i decided to just start from scratch...hopefully my battery life improves significantly....but after booting into the white menu selecting recovery or whatever it said exactly left me at a black screen with a phone and a red exclaimation point and no way to get out except for pulling the battery....dont really wanna try it again just yet lol

i don't think stock recovery does anything but give HTC Sync access to the device so you can restore a factory RUU from your PC. all the fun stuff comes after the phone is rooted.(nandroid, wipe, flash zips, etc. )
