couldnt install certain apps

I tried to install talking tom cat, the app downloaded completely but it couldnt get installed. The following message was displayed ?couldn?t install on sd card?.
The same message was displayed for certain other apps also.

Can you force installation to the internal memory? Move apps at will to the sd card? If you're rooted you can force installation to either location with apps.

One more consideration: if you didn't download this via the official Android marketplace, maybe you aren't allowed to install the app.
