Country code glitch from +1 to +93 on outgoing call

[Android Central Question]

I called my mom and for some reason the outgoing number was +93(xxx)xxx-xxxx instead of +1(xxx)xxx-xxxx, but it still connected to her and I was able to talk to her. +93 is the area code for Afghanistan, why is it showing up when I call her number???
