Couple of question's

Hello,

I received my new Samsung Galaxy S7 edge today and I have a couple of question's.

1) when I try and use the app 'knox' I get told it's unable to work due to a custom binary. What does this mean and how to I resolve it?

2) when I insert my Giff Gaff nano sim into the phone, it's not recognised. Instead of having signal I just get a circle with a diagonal line through it. If I go into the sim card manager and select mobile data the phone shows 'Giff gaff' and my number below it but then immediately goes back to saying 'unknown'

It's a long-shot but what the heck?

With the SIM in the phone, go to Settings -> Backup & reset -> Network settings reset. You will have to reenter your Wi-Fi passwords and re-pair any Bluetooth devices afterwards.

Is phone sim locked?


If not then you can change the apn to that of your carrier
