I haven't had one at all. I have had the watch for over a year... Wear it daily. Not a single scratch, not even micro scratches. Even the case still looks good. I wouldn't sweat the cover.

Eh, I'm paranoid and ordered one. When I got my Gear S, somehow within a day or two there were two small scratches on the screen, but that was covered when I put the screen protector on there, apparently the adhesive liquid fills in the scratches.
