COVID-19 Exposure Notifications?

Just noticed that on my TMO S10 under Settings -> Google -> COVID-19 Exposure Notifications appeared sometime without any notification to me.

It appears to need Location and Bluetooth to be turned on in order to work. Location is seldom on on my phone unless I'm using maps for direction.

Anyone else notice this or am I just not keeping up? I have seen articles about this in Europe but not in the US. Is there more to this than appears?

I have it on my s20 plus its not activated the only way it's activated is if u click on it and I think there's an app u need to download for it for your area.

Hmm, interesting. Haven't seen this in Canada yet, at least via my carrier.
