I've seen this posted on support.google before, but nobody seems to have found the solution.
I have 2 android phones that share the same google account and I'm sharing location with some people. When I'd go to the phone that WASN'T sharing location, a button would appear (when selecting Location Sharing in the Maps app) that said the device wasn't sharing and to press said button to "Fix" the problem. Then after pressing said button, the phone would be the one to start sharing and the "Fix" button would disappear.
Then of course the OTHER phone would stop sharing and the "Fix" button would appear on that phone. So all of that seemed logical and it worked great.
But I noticed sometime in early 2024 that the "Fix" button no longer appears on either phone. BOTH phones now say they are sharing location, but I have no idea which one is actually doing the sharing. Does anyone have a clue what changed, if it's a new bug or if there is a way to find out which one is actually sharing? Thanks.
