I have a quick question about checking CPU stability. I am fully aware of the recommended settings for this phone. Most suggest that 864 as a maximum tends to get unstable. I have done stress test after stress test with no reported error at 864. Does that mean that I am one of the lucky few that can run that high or is there another, possibly better way to check for CPU errors?

Never stay at max. That means you could stay stable at 787 then for normal, everyday usage. I personally would not recommend going over 787/480 (600/480 w.screen off) unless you wanted to post benchmark scores.

And it depends on the ROM...on Mirage or even BobZ CM9 (you have to have the EGL patch + Amphetamines v2), I could get away with 864 when I did my benchmarks, but 787 is the max stable for everyday usage.

One BobZ CM10 however, if I went over 748/480, it would freeze, then reboot constantly.
