CPU Utilization

So I noted that GSam reports that Nougat does not permit one app to read the CPU utilization of other apps. This makes apps like GSAM, Elixer, and others pretty useless (or at least takes out some useful features). Anyone have any thoughts about this?

Can't speak for all of these apps, but I've found that GSAM and a couple of other apps of this type negatively impact battery life. Just my 2 cents Canadian.

Real time CPU utilization isn't really all that important a stat... It's all about power usage (which is CPU utilization by extension) and wakelocks. In that respect, GSAM is still one of the best battery monitoring apps available (make sure to grant it the extra permissions to see all that data)

As far as the app itself, I've never seen GSAM cause any appreciable battery drain on any of the devices I've run it on... It's always been waaaaay down the list.
