First time I have EVER dropped a phone. Have a seidio case on it. And of course it lands perfectly flat on the glass. Still usable. Call asurion, replacement will be here some time tomorrow.
I am really hoping that the replacement will act ok. Have had NO issues with this unit. Just terrified I will get one of those that the radios don't pick up, or goofed up charging port, or any other hundred things that could go wrong.

Crossing fingers..

You may want to get a new case too because it seems like the one you have doesn't work.

My phone dropped in the toilet at the end of March and my phone from Asurion has not given me any trouble. :D

I already knew you dropped it in the toilet a while ago but what I've been meaning to ask...was this before or after dropping a deuce?

crossing my fingers for ya ghess!

Has a good case on it. It was one of those slow motion, I can see ever turn it made falls. And it landed completely flat, on its glass, no bounce, no tumble. I hear the glass crack. No case in the world would have helped.

happens, on the upside: it probably looked better after dropping it than a SGS3 would have.

Seidio's cases are actually quite good, I have been using them for my last three personal phones (two Surface models, and one Active series) and have dropped, kicked, fumbled, banged, slammed, and whatever else my phones many times, and they have all survived just fine. With that said, the right fall in just the right place will crack glass with most "bump cases" (that is what I call the thin polycarbonate shell cases).

Still, if you are tough on phones, consider an Otterbox Defender or Trident Kraken AMS series... I (and several of my co-workers) have dropped my work Rezound in an Otterbox Defender from the top of a 12' ladder to a concrete floor more than once, even when the temperature was well below zero and if you take any of them out of the case they still look like brand new phones. They are not cheap, but they are certainly cheaper than an Asurion insurance claim!

I am very careful with my phone. In fact, when I got the rezound I still had my Incredible. The inc had a seidio case on it and had never had a screen protector on it. Not one scratch was on it.

Ok ... kind of gross! But the only reason the phone was in the bathroom was because I was at Dillions at the zoo waiting for a table. Went into the restroom, in a very narrow space, and when I took my phone off my waist band, bam, it dropped.

Well gang. I'm back. Got a CLN instead of a new. But its firing on all cylinders. Now to set things back up. Glad I took screen shots to make it easier...

So this weekend I left my phone and wallet on my rear tire as I was buckling the kids into their seats. Forgetting it was there, I backed out of the driveway and went on my way. Sure enough, I realized what I did once we got to our destination with that stunned, "Oh-****" feeling. My wife takes the kids inside and I rush back home to find both my wallet and phone laying in the driveway as expected.

The phone? Tire marks covering the entire glass surface.

Damage? NONE!!! No case - only a Zagg Invisible Shield skin... awesome! :D

Dang it.....dropped my rez from 3 inches off the floor and it cracked the glass. Here we go again.....

What the Heck are you doing to drop it so much... I do not have a case on mine and have dropped it twice(on asphalt) and only have a small scratch.
