will they tell you it's 'like new'? I wouldn't want a 2nd hand phone..

Skatergirl got a brand new phone w/ all the original acc. Only thing they wanted from her was the phone. She got to keep her orig. acc. and got new acc. w/ her new one. Here's her threads, fwiw, the original followed by her Asurion woes.

I recently dropped my rezound and had to file a claim through assurion. They were very helpful amd the phone arrived early the next day. Everything worked out great, but I did get a refurbished phone. Been nearly a month and the phone is still going strong.

anyways, last question. Once I file this claim? can i still continue to pay the monthly fee for the insurance in case it happens again?

dropped my brand new rezound 3 day after i got it last november. cracked screen. asurion sent out a refurb with all the accessories including the beats headphones. it came in one day. all they wanted back was the phone so i got a spare batter, sd card and beats phones out of it. sold both my beats phones on amazon for 70 each. so that paid the deductible and a bit.

Asurion allows 2 in a year. If you hit the limit. They automatically cancel your insurance but you can renew it once the rest of the 12 month period is up.

You will not be getting a new device it is stated as "like New" means its a refurbished device. when dealing with them, you will never get a brand new device
