Cracked Screen

I finally cracked my screen today, ugh. Will a screen protector keep it from getting worse? i.e stop the cracks from spreading and eventually chunks falling off? I don't feel like spending the money right now to get the screen replaced, unless I have to.

Depending on the size of the crack. In my case, it helped, I had a long thin crack throughout the screen.

yup it really depends on the size of the crack. It's a bandaid as you know it will work for the moment or until you drop it.
