I have the chance to purchase a 64GB Droid Turbo for about $260 but the only problem is its cracked. Motorola said they could replace it the screen for about $125 plus taxes. Is it worth it to go through all that? And has anyone had Motorola fix their screen?

That is a good price and I think you will get a factory original screen. I have had Motorola fix a phone for me. Actually they just replaced it:-)

I had Motorola fix a broken screen on my 2013 Moto X and what they really did was send me a refurbished phone. In fact, I was able to have them send an advance replacement so I wouldn't be without a phone. The whole process was pretty painless.

I think it's worth pointing out that I was the original owner of that phone. I don't know if the process is different for those who buy a phone 2nd hand.

I also think it's a good price and investment. It'll look new for half the retail price. Just make sure the screen damage is the only problem. You don't want to open a can of worms.

There is one free screen replacement with the Turbo. Have you tried that route, or is it only through VZW on contract?

Plus, at $260+$150=$410 for what will probably be a refurbished phone. I'd just save a bit more and buy a new one if I were you. Just my opinion.
