Crappy album art in music player?

Hi everyone, so I have had my One M8 for a week now and I love it but the one thing I have noticed (coming from an iPhone and being a music fanatic) is that the album art in music player looks like absolute trash. I use iSyncr to take my songs from iTunes and the album art on iTunes is high quality 1000x1000 or above images. Can't understand why the HTC is taking those images and making them look downgraded (colour is off as well).

Anyone have a solution for this?

Go to settings and unclick update album art and artist pictures.

I transferred my music to my phone from itunes, not with isyncr, and the album art is fine.
