What are those "few things" you've mentioned you have done in an attempt at fixing the issue? It doesn't help much if you don't provide enough information.
Nonetheless, try uninstalling the application and reinstalling it first. Something may have gone wrong during the download or installation process.
You have to click uninstall updates on that second screen.
However it seems you're using either an S3 or an S4. I at least have not been able to fix the bug on my S3, even after factory reset/multiple rom installs.
Nothing you can do except wait for an update, most likely.
S4 I try that. I googled around and it seems as Google updated the App it happened to not just us.
I am not willing to pay for the all access if he App is not proper function.
This was the first time I considered paying or a music subscription.
It stinks you cannot remove preloaded ware. I am certainly look at the Samsung google edition.
