Crcked the screen from 2 inch drop

So annoying! Dropped it from barely 2 inches above my garage floor and the corner is now cracked. Worst part is that now I'm not certain it's water tight. UGH. TWO INCHES.

I dropped my phone in the shower on to hard tile but wayyyy higher than 2 inches, I took it to a Samsung service center and it was $179.99 to repair and it was done in 40 minutes. they assured me that my phone is still water resistant.

I'd recommend you find a Samsung service center... no one else guarantees the water tight seal besides official samsung stores/repair centers

Well it looks like Verizon will replace my phone under insurance for the $145 deductible. I'm going to hold off for now, the crack is so small that it doesn't bother me and I can't see it when using the phone.

Get a case! It's Gorilla GLASS, it isn't too durable just like all smart phones.. With the capability of wireless charging, the phone is made of glass! Get a case that falls case first, I dropped my phone plenty of times and it just bounced around with my rubber, plastic case. Every which way, it's protected.

Even a slim rubber case will do wonders. My wife is constantly dropping her phone and she only has a slim rubber case. Most of them have a ridge on top so that if dropped on a flat surface, the glass doesn't actually touch the ground. I never had cases on my phones until I got the S7 Edge and it fell out of my pocket on pavement. Luckily, I didn't crack the glass but it scratched my FPS button a bit so after that, I decided to use a slim case.
