Create Folder in All Apps List - Am I missing Something?

I've googled and searched here and I'm striking out

On the S3
Touch "apps" (to go to list of all installed apps & widgets)
in the Apps list, push the menu button
chose Create Folder

I can give it a name, etc just like folders I put on the home screen etc. thing is I can't put anything in it, I cant move it around, nothing. If I hold an app, it jumps to the home screen and wants me to put it there.

So my question is: am i doing something wrong? Or is there really no point to this (and if so why does it exist?)

Just looking for a better way to arrange my All Apps list. It is a mess. Was hoping to use folders

If you have another method, I'm open to suggestions!

After creating your folder, click on the capacitive menu button, select edit. Then, click on your new folder, and hit the + symbol that pops up.. From there, select the apps you would like to move into the folder! I had to switch back to TouchWiz to figure this out myself, lol..

I just found out how to do this a couple of weeks ago, after months of being frustrated (and convinced) that it wasn't possible

How do you delete the new folder? Also, you may want to try the app "syncme" to keep your different devices syncd and backed up...

Go to the app drawer, press menu key, edit, then drag the folder to the trash can (top of the screen)
