Creating Duplicate Icon On Home Screen

I'm just trying to replace the Internet in the tray with chrome and put my email down there but it just will not let me

Go to the app drawer >:

Long-press the Sense 5 Internet icon in the launch bar, drag it up and place it somewhere else or remove it completely > Long-press the Chrome icon and drag it down to the empty spot in the launch bar.
.
If you want to remove something else from the launch bar and replace it with your email icon repeat the same process. If you don't want to remove anything else from the launch bar but want to add your email icon then you can just create a folder in the launch bar by long-pressing, dragging and hovering your email app over another icon in the launch bar. This will create a folder with your email and whatever other apps you choose to add to it.

Wait, so you want like iOS style home screens? Just apps and such?

Yes but I wanted certain icons in the launch bar as well as in the app drawer and Sense 5 does not allow you to do this directly from the app drawer. You can put whatever icons you want in the launch bar or in the app drawer but you can't have the the same icons in both locations. To do this you have to use the "customize home screen" page and set-up a new app drawer and make it your default home screen or use an app like Nova to gain some extra functionality.

Well the only thing I'm trying to do is replace the stock Internet in the tray with chrome but when I long press on the icon and drag it up it just makes a double icon. One in the tray and one on the panel above.

You have to have the app drawer open to edit the bottom row.
