Cricket pixel XL "sending video" notification won't go away

Hello!

I had a video get stuck trying to send via MMS so I long pressed and deleted the video to cancel the attempt to send. (It was largish and we were in the mountains, so chalked it up to ****ty connection).

Well it's now 3 days later and I can't get the push notification in my notification tray to go away.... My poor phone thinks it's trying to send a video still. If I click on the notification, it used to take me back to the thread where I sent it, but u wouldn't see any evidence of the video still there.

I tried deleting the entire group thread as well, but the notification is still there. See screenshot attached.

Stock OS from Google as a BYOD to cricket. Using default messages app.

You could Force Close the Messages application, clear the cache and then restart the phone and see if everything is OK.
