Critics opinion of moto 360

I just read it and found the comments amusing. I'm trying to decide if I want to buy a watch or not. I may feel stupid spending a lot primarily so I don't have to take my phone out of my pocket. I do worry at times about dropping my phone taking it out like I'm pushing my luck, and sometimes I fail to notice it vibrating. So those are the two major reasons I am considering a watch. I'm now wondering if I should spend less and consider a pebble so long as it notifies in a similar way for whatever apps I want on the phone.

I'll tell you for whatever it's worth to people for what I consider a good functions of Android Wear and we're both, the Moto 360 does a great job. Texting, emailing, remotely controlling the phone, the music etc. I mean no I don't want Google Maps on my watch was in my phone but I knew that going into it I'd rather see GPS on a bigger screen while my phone is connected to car charger regardless. Even checking use apps like Drippler and CNN are awesome on Moto 360

As a more basic AW / 360-2.0 user I agree with most points. Although I have no way to tell how often new AW apps are being released. I like how AW seamlessly integrates with android, it truly is a remote notification window. When I am out and about, the only thing I need to pick up my phone for is voice calls. Every once in a blue moon I may need to open a www browser to do a price check, while I am out. I prefer my phone screen for that. Not sure if the $250-300 AW watches are worth it though... Without having owned a pebble or g-watch. I may give one a try some day.

Yes yes absolutely. The only thing that I need to pull my Nexus 6 phone off or is phone calls. Every single thing else can be either push notification or email or text on my watch and it's perfect. The mime 2nd gen Moto 360 watches literally a remote for my phone. Like I said, I absolutely love it. Operative men's 46 millimeter but I used some credit I had for my Bank of America rewards points so it was my money but not money that I had to set up for. As far as the Android Wear apps are concerned, I have been looking the Play Store on your Android Wear for more apps, but then I think to myself, what else would I person want to use on my watch? I Didn't, I have my news, but with CNN and Tech news, email, texting, I have a browser that I never use for the evening brother my phone when I need to. What else do I need?
