First id like to say hello to all. This is my first post. Ok i would like to crossflass my Rogers Galaxy S Glide i927r to the att i927 captivate glide version. The att has a few more features and would like to also update to ICS 4.0.4. I was going to use this tut on rooting my phone. http://www.androidtotal.com/root-samsung-captivate-glide-sgh-i927-sgh-i927r/ My main concern is changing the firmware to att and is it safe to upgrade to a non-realeased version of ICS? Thanks for any info.

First, the official ICS build was released today (although available since last night).
Second, good news, yes you can flash your Rogers phone with AT&T software. I have two Glides, one from AT&T and one from Rogers flashed with AT&T software. Please note that if you have SIM unlocked your phone, IT WILL RE-LOCK after flashing, so be sure to keep your unlock code handy as at least you can reuse your previous unlock code.

I flashed my Rogers-based phone to AT&T with the build from this thread in xda-developers.
