Curious about heat management

Wondering if anyone who has one of these for review can do some kind of analysis on the heat management, including with a battery mod attached. It's a lot of specs in a very thin phone, and with a mod on the back, not a lot of surface to ventilate...

Good question. As usual, the reviews do not cover that, or how well the device temp and battery holds up in weak signal areas (an infamous issue with 4G devices).

I'm hopeful that not a single review has mentioned heat means it's not an issue. Time will tell...

I read one review (don't remember which one) that the phone didn't feel as warm with a style shell attached fwiw.

I actually came across a video review yesterday that mentioned the phone getting hot & throttling performance, which was my concern.

The Z apparently runs hot like the MXPE when running heavier apps. Several reviews that actually used the device beyond most other light efforts for reviews state this. Makes sense considering design and metal body. Of course, to some "hotness" is in the hands of the holder

Of course, many will be infected with new device pixie dust and will say it runs so cool, you can chill a beer with it Pixies dust needs to wear off first
