ahh well she is very attractive and looks very young ;-), but you hardly look 65 so I guess it's all good.

Are you going to spring for the Note Pro 12.2? I am still in my return window with BB.. Just a thought! :D

BTW, I am older than 65 in those pics..:D

Samsung = decent hardware, ****ty *** software. I hope this changes. It would be nice to purchase a device and not have to root/hack it to make it usable. I am actually looking forward to the Magazine UI - at the very least it can not be worse than Touchwiz.

Nope, 12" is laptop, I'm happily enamoured with my 10.1

and damn , you are aging well! :-)

Ha, I was trying to get somebody on the 12.2 bandwagon.. I am still in my 14 or 15 day return period.. Trying to make a case so I can go get one.. :D
It will be too big on the motorcycle :) Oh well, I tried..

On the aging, if you think young, and young at heart, I guess everything else tries to keep up. I have the mind of a 40year old..But, .. 80 is right around the corner..

You can't go wrong with the S4 or the Note 3, both super phones. But, take it from the old man, the Note 3 is like an S4 on Steriods!! :D

phone wize I came from Palm Pre > Nexus S > S4. I had to adjust to the bigger size of the S4, but I really feel that's the largest I could ever tolerate a phone. The Note3 as a phone is just too big to carry around, just as a 12" Tablet is too big

It's funny but sometimes it's all a matter of perception and what you get used to. I went from the iPhone 3G (3.5 inches) to the Galaxy S2 (4.3 inches) to the S4 (5 inches). When I got the S2, I was like, wow, how did I ever manage with such a small screen before. The S4 was a slight adjustment but it doesn't feel unwieldy in any way. Now that I own my very first tablet, and use the same apps as I do on the S4, suddenly my S4 is starting to look really small :D

I love my Note 10.1 screen for the brightness and for how pleasant it is to read text. The only thing I miss are the popping colors you get with an amoled screen. I much prefer the reds and greens on my S2/S4 than on this tablet, color accuracy be damned... it`s just candy for the eyes and makes you look at your screen in admiration lol. Oh well, Amoled tablets will get here eventually and the way Sammy is pricing their new gadgets, I will probably have to get a bank loan to afford one.

I Said the very same thing last night. I'd been on my tab for a few hours and checked a txt on my note 3. The screen felt sooo small! A Note 8 Pro Would've been right up my alley, but they weren't in the new lineup so I bit on this 2014. Not a bit of buyer's remorse.

You might have a point there. The wife has an S4, and I felt guilty springing out with a big bad Note 3, so I told the wife to go and get a Note3, I got it.. You know she said "no".. Well, the S5 is just over the hill, you be rocking with that I'm sure... :D

I have a a Galaxy S3, and the original Galaxy Tab. But I rarely turn it on. I also use the Nexus 7 (2013) that I use daily, because it's pocketable.

Galaxy player 3.6
Galaxy player 4.0 x2
Galaxy player 5.0
Galaxy tab 3 8.0
Galaxy tab 2 10.0
Galaxy tab 3 7.0 kids edition

Got the short list below... Had the original Galaxy S first before the S3... Had the first gen Tab 10.1... Best improvements would be the speed of the Note and the card slot additions to the tablets... I found that the S3 with the new/same Android version as the S4 to be preferable over the size of the S4 for portability... I have stock ROMs on the S3 and the Note but rooted and am using Slims android 4.3 on the Tab 2 which also gives it a seemingly near speed to the Note; but its definately a lot faster than the stock 4.2.2...
