Current location annoyance!

So anytime I use 4g it always shows current location on the sense weather widget. I have 4g everywhere so I refuse to not use it. 3g and 1x work fine for the widget. I've done a battery pul and restarts and turn location on and off?? Any ideas?

Mine's been doing that a little bit lately, kind of annoying but it usually comes right back up. I think its a network issue, not a phone issue.

My location information is off today. It says I'm in Alytus but I'm in Roseville.

It does the samething for me. I think its a bug htc needs to fix

Mine does this sometimes. My favorite is when it says I'm in NE Russia while I'm on my couch in Utah...LOL.

It hasn't done the Russia thing since the last update.

Mine does this sometimes too (just says current location) even on 3G. But it always corrects itself when I open/close Google Maps (confirm it's correct), then open/close the weather app (touch near the clock). I'm only using Google location services and this seems to resync the weather app correctly which is set to update default every 3 hours or update when opened.

That was going to be my next question for those experiencing this...which location services do you have turned on?

I have yet to notice this behavior on this phone (but that doesn't mean I just didn't notice it). I generally do NOT have GPS enabled (out of respect for my battery), but do leave VZW and Google location services turned on.
