I am about to purchase a Nexus 4 should I wait a week for the launch of Nexus 5 and the revised Nexus 4? If so what's the diff?

Unless you're getting a particularly good deal, wait the short while longer till release so you truly know the differences. The N5's stats are most likely very close to what's been leaked - it's going to be a better phone, but not so much better than the N4 if you're on T-mo and choose to root and enable the LTE.

As to a 'revised' Nexus 4, there's very little supporting the theory of a truly new edition - the only things I've seen (and if I've missed something, please chime in) are conjectured rumors and the resubmission of the original N4 to gain certification on its original LTE chipset that had been OEM disabled. If a new one is released, it would likely be the same device but with LTE enabled by OEM - and given that it really only works with T-mo's LTE network, I suspect it might be sold exclusively by them (or their dealers/MVNO's) as a holiday deep-discount phone.
