Hi all,

I got a Samsung S6 edge+ and right now I'm using Nova launcher with some fancy icon pack. Everything seems to be allright, but the Android share menu doesn't show the new icons of the icon pack.

Is that normal behaviour? And if not, is there a way I can make the share menu use the icons of the icon pack?

Thanks,
oSIRus

Long press the app icon on the home screen and choose edit. It would let you choose another icon.

Thanks for your quick reply. But I don't think you know what I mean.

All Icons on my homescreen already use the icon pack. But when I'm using Google Photos for example and I share a photo with some other app then the upcoming share menu uses the default system icons and not the ones from my icon pack.

Thanks,
oSIRus

Ah sorry, I don't believe that those can be changed. But I will check with the ambassador team to see if anyone knows about it.

Can't be changed unless you are rooted and edit the actual system img files. Remember icon packs only work in third party apps such as Nova, Apex, and such. So when you're outside of the launcher such as in messages or in Google Chrome it will always use stock icons.

I don't think those icons can be altered. Thinking about it, I saw the same thing in an older version of Android (4.3 as I recall) when I had icon packs installed.

I agree with dpham00, those can't be changed. The launcher can change the icons just on the home screens and the app drawer.
