Google Gemini not working

My Google Gemini seems to have stopped working. Anytime I say, hey Google, I'll ask my question and then the phone comes back with a message saying something went wrong. Try again later. It's been doing this all day. Is anyone else's Google Gemini down?

Have you rebooted the device? How about switching to Assistant and then back to Gemini?

Gemini working as normal, here. I did ask Gemini if there were any reports of outages or errors and it said there were some reports of errors but nothing systemwide.

Thanks guys. I was on support with Google today. They said to factory reset the device or they'll replace it LOL but I don't think it's a hardware issue because I can say hey G, and it will light up and then I asked the question, then it just responds with something went wrong. Try again later.

I'm going to try this and see if it works. Not sure how to do it but I'll research. Thank you!

Interesting. So I switched back to Google assistant and it totally works. But then I switched back to Gemini, and it won't work

Latest update. I just tried Gemini assistant now and it's completely working. A little dismayed that Google tech support told me to factory reset the phone. I knew that wasn't the answer. It must have been just a technical glitch or something. But still. But as of right now it's working again

I can't get Gemini to work when I'm on the lock screen. I have to unlock it before it will proceed with its task. This doesn't happen on any of my Samsung phones.

Is the option to allow Gemini while unlocked active? Should be somewhere in the Assistant/Gemini settings.

I've noticed two that sometimes when the the phone is off as in it's just sleeping. I'll say the hey g command and it won't wake up. I'll have to tap the phone open to make it work. I don't know if that's a bug or what it is?
