Custom kernel with rooted stock rom?

For a number of reasons, I have returned to rooted, debloated, deodexed stock. Am I able to use Ziggy's kernel with this?

If its a Kernel made for GB it should work. Ziggy's sept 13th kernel seems to be the most solid in my experience. Each diff kernel is gonna play diff with every diff rom. Its a mix and match game.
