Custom lock ring help?

I'm running Gingeritis 3D and want to flash a custom lock ring. I have a couple downloaded but I can't find instructions anywhere..... All threads are about creating your own lock ring. Some say "flash in recovery"


But I'm sure it's not that simple.

It is...as long as the lock ring is compatible. Reboot in recovery and flash the new lock ring. Not sure if its necessary to wipe cache or davlik. I know you don't have to wipe data

I don't have to rename the original lock ring or mess with that? Just flash the zip?

The custom lock rings I used it was that simple just flash it in recovery and enjoy
