custom notification sound

I have a gong sound i downloaded. I see i can set it to the ringtone but cant find how to set it as notification sound. Any ideas?

In order to use any sound for notification, you have to move the sound to the "Notifications" file located at....

Click "my files"
Click "media"
Click "audio"
Click "notifications"

Any sound you move to that notification file will be able to be used as your notification sound.

It was one of the first things I had to learn coming from a Blackberry. As Blackberry makes it easy as pick a sound and set it no matter where you had it stored.

Click the application key (bottom middle ... looks like a checkerboard) and scroll to it. It should be between music and navigation,.


Its actually easier to just hook your XPRT to your computer and find the notification files and drag the sounds you want into it.

ok maybe my phone has an issue. the only files in the file folder are the sd card files. I cant find them when connected to computer either. any help?
