I was on VaelPak's XDA page and he posted a really good an informative spreadsheet with numerous ROM's comparing battery life, benchmarks and things of that nature. Check it out:

Could a MOD change the name of the thread? Looking back it doesn't quite match the post. Possible change to: Custom ROM Performance Comparison Spreadsheet? Or something of that nature

I may try out Vaelpak as my next ROM. I'm still enjoying CM6 stable at the moment and am all tinkered out for a few days.

I'm really liking the VaelPak ROM. Very very stable. Haven't had any issues at all so far (knock on wood). I was planning on trying others out but I really think I'm just gonna stick to this one.

I like CM6, overall it's super stable. I'm just not currently getting wonders out of my battery life. I've flashed a couple of different kernels, but they tend to make things not quite as smooth as the kernel that comes with CM6.

I'm running CM6 Final with Snap 8.2 -875mv u/c and this morning when i came into work i had 56% battery remaining and 16hrs since unplugged.

Probably because the ROM updates so often it's hard to say what the normal numbers are. Just my guess though.

Where did you download that kernel? Does it also have fps unlocked?
