This phone can actually auto adjust brightness appropriately!

mine doesn't and it's too low on the screen/too high on boot screen

Battery has been fantastic. I'm loving the Pen. Sorry iphone X no pen no deal. The pen has saved me several times and frustration of copying text on a website. As much as i miss the iphone eco system for imessage and facetime the daily use gadget for me is the N8

I've either never witnessed this working or it thinks I want my phone dark all the time. I've also never under a slider bar to adjust the brightness while it's set to auto. If I'm tweaking it, auto isn't doing what it's supposed to do.

I had that with s7. Sometimes I adjust for a lower brightness at night bc I'm sensitive

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be getting 4K video recording at 60fps too | AndroidGuys

I really hope it's true, but a rumor will just remain a rumor for now. If I'm not completely mistaken, the Snapdragon 835 is not capable of 4k@60fps while the Exynos is. Seems weird that they would make that kind of "typo" just as Apple announced the iPhone X.

I am Galaxy Note 8's new user and it seems I have one issue with this device.
I can see a little vertical gaps behind the edges and I don't know if I'm alone with this or anyone else

Someone else here reported that also. I would exchange it. It's not supposed to be like that.

I got mine with the 128 gb card and wireless charger on Friday from Samsung after taking their trade in for the s7e. I'm coming from a note 2, Note 7, Note 7 then S7e+. The only reason I jumped to the note 8 was because of the trade in plus gifts. Had trouble with the Sim card so I switched with the one in my s7e so it worked right away. I didn't like the orchid gray color at first but now I really like it. I love the display and how fast it is. I love using the pen again and the live messages. Well worth the wait for the note 8 to show up after last year's heartbreaking drama. Overall I'm very happy with the note 8 and can tell you that I'm going to be a Samsung fan for life.

This is the first time I pre_ordered a phone and am loving it. Spen is as accurate it can get. I am liking Bixby too and already using some commands to automate my stuff. Battery life is 5+ hours for sure. Overall, amazing device.
