cutting off

my g4 keeps cutting off even after removing the sim card, memory card & factory resetting. what could be done to solve this problem?

Welcome to the forums. Cutting off as in the call cuts off?

The phone itself keeps cutting off. Sometimes removing the battery & reinstalling it won't work to turn the phone back on, have to do it a couple times or connect a charger

Have you tried a new battery? The battery may be swelling a little, and causing a bad connection.

No haven't tried that. Was thinking it could either be that or the phone might have a glitch in the software causing the problem

hey thanks for your advice. i didn't kno that the red dot i was seeing on top the battery was an indication that the battery was bad. I installed a new one & now the phone is running smoothly again
