a buddy of mine updated his cwm thru rom manager to version 3.0.0.8 and its orange. I thought red was the correct/current version?

orange bad red good

That actually made me laugh out loud!!! :-!

gunnermike53 is right.. the orange version of CWM is an older version and has flaws.. avoid it go with the versions that are linked in the posts here.. CWM 3.0.2.7x voodoo is what everyone is currently using - thanks to times_infinity

There might not be a "_" in between disable and lagfix.
I think it is just "disable lagfix"
Others correct me if I am wrong.

Why does it show up as 2.5.1.x when you're booted into it? I used the cwm-recovery-ALL-3-30-FIX.tar in odin to install it... i assume that's the correct thing to use.

That is the older version... it will still afford you the flashing capability but has some features that do not work correctly.

Most up to date versions by times_infinity:
