CWM orange vs red

just curious of what the differences are between CWM red and orange. I have red currently running SC2.6, and i understand adrynaline is changed his work to work with orange, but do we NEED orange for anything or can we stick with red just fine?

Adryn just said in the Superclean sticky that he used RED CW with no problems when flashing 2.7.1, so since it'll handle both that rom, and the corresponding kernels, sticking with RED for now is acceptable.
