What are the exact advantages to CyanogenMod, over say, the Apex Rom or Liberty?

guess its a personal opinion, but from what i understood cyanogen was basically android 2.3, gingerbread, with some cool mods... apex and liberty are still run off of 2.2... plus cyanogen has the cracked bootlaoder

I had cm7 on my late Incredible and it was awesome. Lots of mods, options and a little more freedom than most for the Inc at the time. Lookin forward to it for the X, altho Liberty 1.5 is pretty rockin right now

I've been running CM7 on my Evo since the middle of December, so it really isn't anything new to me, but it is "current"...

i tried liberty last week, just for shyts n giggles, and my DX acted like it had water damage. acted all kinds of stupid. the only things it didn't do was drip and the screen did not fog up, *yet*. who knows what could have happened if i left it in for my then 3 days...

So that's a "YES" on being a Cyanogenmod fanboy....got it.
