CyanogenMod7 now available in beta!

Has anyone noticed how quickly your phone heats up while using CM7? For example, I was browsing the internet using 3G while outside during the daytime and then my Auto-brightness settings kicked in. After a few minutes, the phone started to get hot and shortly thereafter I was already over 104 degrees. It could be due to the fact that I was underclocked but can anyone think of a way to prevent this from happening?

Not to go off that topic but I have an issue that I haven't had before. I just flashed cm#28, the camera fix and rebooted. Like I've done since we've been able to do so. I then backed up in CWM recovery and on that reboot after it was done, has put me into a boot loop! I went into stock recovery and did a cache wipe since I haven't in a while and that hasn't done anything. Seriously?

Updated: I think I figured out the problem. Earlier, I had it with every time I would plug in usb to my laptop my X would clear my home launcher defaults and go back to the adw launcher. I would have to hit the home key, re-select LPP and check the set as default. So I went ahead and deleted the adw apk so it would stop happening. No I didnt think of freezing it in Titanium(although I think this still would have happened) Well now I've gotten past the boot loop, got to the home screen which is blank(signal, 3g, battery and clock are in the bar all in green).
Earlier during the boot loop troubleshooting I cleared the cache and factory re-setted, got logged into Google, and then I now realize, factory re-setting puts the X back to ADW, which I deleted off the phone earlier. My notify bar can still be pulled down if I get a text which when tapped will take me to messaging. So I cant do anything on screen but take a incoming call. Im afraid an sbf is my only solution....its been a while.

Anyone know when we will be able to download the nightlies straight from Rom Manager? I have not been able to download and everything is up to date.

you have to install the camera fix and go with the aosp or 3rd party camera.. no chance of the blur camera coming back.

I've noticed that over in the Apex 2.0 thread, they've got some flashable zips for the blur elements that are gone since Apex 2.0 is completely AOSP and blurless... is there any reason those apks won't work on CM7 since it's AOSP? Or is it an issue with the camera fix, etc... I just really liked that camera, and trying to make a command decision to stick with CM7, or jump to Apex2.0... Honestly, the camera is the only hangup I have!

Do you have the paid rom manager? I know that is needed for the nightlies to show. If you do and don't see them I got nothing.

Well it seems no matter what causes my device a bootloop(installing the 1%meter this time) the only solution is an sbf which I've gone and done to 596. Everything seems fine and Ill see what I'm gona do next.

I installed 33 and I have the 1% battery but torch still doesn't work. Did you clear the cache and dalvnik? that makes a big difference for me sometimes. Also this is pretty noob but where did you find the changelog for the nightlies? i've just been flashing blind.

Would those who are using it say that it is stable enough for regular use yet? I don't mind dealing with some bugs, but I also don't want it crashing many times a day and some functions not working.

does the camera fix completely fix the camera and camcorder? 8mp resolution and 720p video capture? if not, i'll have to wait for that before I jump on the bandwagon

Definitely stable enough for everyday use. I use it on my current phone and wasn't afraid to take the leap. You just have to follow instructions carefully and use the recommended way to update to CM7 via CVPCS.
