Cyanogen's Nightly Builds

I'm running the newest nightly 8/3/2010 and the protected apps still dont show in the app market. If there's a fix can anyone share that with me. Thanks

update to the 8/4/2010 nightly


take this file
open root explorer
find file and "open in text editor"
copy all text
go to /system
click mount R/W
open build.prop in text editor
paste info from file
reboot

The text file work great for me thanks alot but instead of open the text and copy and paste what I did I rename the text to build.prop and pasted to the system folder and rebooted and now I could see protected apps thanks alot for the tip.

Thanks. The rom for 8/04 was available on rom manager yesterday. Is that what I download or wait for 8/05?

Fring is still having their slap-fight/hissy-fit with Skype, so no Skype at all. Nimbuzz only supports audio Skype calling.

It is absolutely unreal that Skype is still holding out on an official (for all, not just VZW) app with video calling. I don't know who is to blame here- Skype or the carriers, but it is f*cking infuriating.

Still at the dunes on vacation so I've been out of the loop for a while. Downloading the foyers nightlyvon my phone now. See how its going =) and the Skype issue isprobably due to some apple pissy fit or something lol

Facebook released a new version that fixes the sync issues. I don't know anything about Google sync problems, I haven't had any. The market app situation has been fixed for awhile but should be even more fixed now that Froyo is official on the Evo.

What I'm in question about is every time I load up a nightly rom, under accounts the only thing there is the ability to sync up an exchange account. No facebook, no google... nothing... Then theres no app button for the market as well? Has this been fixed with the new facebook app?

go to the camara app, slice up for video, then on the screen you get 4 options, tap on the bottom one and select Custom. Then go to the top option and tap on it, scroll down to Video Quality and select the video quality you want. Hope that helps

you need to download gapps also ... if you are using rom manager to grab these roms it asks you if you would like to download gapps along with the rom
