Hi all,

Just did my first rooting/rom install and my Evo now runs CyanogenMod-6.1.0-RC1-Supersonic. My goal was to get the vanilla Nexus user experience without the Spring/HTC bloatware and in I am happy with the results.

So far I encounter only one problem.

In the home page, hold down the apps icon at the bottom of the screen (between the phone and internet icons) for 5 secs and then drag it to the center of the screen.

On my phone, the three bottom icons (phone, apps, internet) just disappear and I need to reboot the phone to restore them.

Is there a faster way to restore them?

BTW, the Nexus does not have this problem. Holding down the apps icon displays thumbnails of the 5 home pages.

Thanks,

K.

You are hiding the bottom bar. Slide your finger down over where the bottom bar was to bring it back. Its a feature in ADWLauncher. Its not a 'true' nexus experience, but its still awesome.

Thanks MW. It is not a bug then. Great!

The ADWLauncher works pretty good for me.

I'm pretty sure you can shut it off to. Explore the adw settings, it's in there somewhere.

No prob. And there is a way to prevent that from happening again. Go to settings> adw launcher> ui settings> uncheck dockbar and your good to go

Yes, this did the trick. Thanks.

Is there a way to set the center icon at the bottom of home such that holding it down will show the home screens preview? (this is the Nexus behavior. Currently I do it on my Evo by clicking twice on the Home button.
